Our take
A weekend room box for typewriters-and-clue-walls people. Mystic Archives parts arrive pre-painted, so no brush work, and the official assembly time runs roughly half what the classic DG boxes ask. The catch is thinness: 159 pieces is modest for the band, and Rolife publishes no scale, no difficulty rating and no LED spec — lighting is inferred from a battery note in the customs disclaimer. Skip it if you want a centrepiece.

What works
- Mystic Archives kits ship pre-painted and with a higher proportion of pre-finished parts, which Rolife states makes the assembly simpler and more comfortable than the classic DG kits

Yes. This is a glue-based build. Note that adhesives are frequently removed from international shipments under air-freight rules even when the listing says glue is included, and the supplied bottle is often too small anyway — buy a fast-grab tacky glue before you start.
